Not open-ended check-ins. A structured plan from day one.

DIFFERENT BY DESIGN
INTEGRATED CARE
Your therapist and psychiatrist work together
We work with Good Day Psychiatry and your therapist can coordinate directly with your psychiatric provider in real time. No chart notes passed back and forth. No waiting weeks for communication. Your whole care team is on the same page from the start.
From children to adults, individual to family.
We provide individual therapy for adults and pediatric therapy for children and teens, along with couples and family counseling when needed. Our therapists specialize in developmental differences and tailor every approach to the age, history, and goals of the individual.

EXCLUSIVE TO GOOD DAY MENTAL HEALTH
The Elite Dual Intake
Most therapy practices schedule a single intake and jump straight to treatment. We do it differently.
Our Elite Dual Intake brings your therapist and psychiatric nurse practitioner together at your very first appointment. You tell your story once. Both providers hear your history, compare observations in real time, and build one unified treatment plan before you leave.
The result: a targeted, written care plan that guides every session from day one. No guesswork. No wandering. Just focused, efficient treatment designed around you. Research supports integrated care as the gold standard.

Selective Mutism
Individuals with Selective Mutism (SM) have a strong understanding of their spoken language, but are so overcome with their anxiety that they are unable to speak in certain places such as school or restaurants, with certain people, or in certain situations. SM differs from shyness in that it impairs one’s ability to function normally at school, work, or other social situations. SM is often misdiagnosed as an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by those who are not trained to spot the differences. One way that SM differs from ASD is that SM symptoms tend to “disappear” when the person with SM is in a comfortable environment with familiar people, such as being at home with family.
Selective Mutism can be difficult for both the individual and their families. Some of those diagnosed with SM have described anxiety as feeling like they have tape over their mouths; like they try to speak but their words won’t leave their mouth. Left untreated, symptoms can worsen into a lifetime habit of mutism that lasts into adulthood and becomes much more difficult to treat.
Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP)
Exposure with Response Prevention is an empirically-validated treatment for Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Trauma. The Exposure piece of ERP involves exposing someone to situations that typically cause him or her anxiety. The Response Prevention piece involves refraining from avoidance or giving into compulsions.
Exposure Therapy is highly successful when used in the proper context. When using ERP, our counselors will be right by your side to help you utilize the healthy coping skills you’ve learned in session to face your anxieties head-on.
Counseling for Adults
Whether you’re single, coupled, or living the life of a parent, we know you’ve got a lot going on. Finding balance in life can feel out of reach and self-care falls to the wayside. We are here to help you discover inner strength to conquer the effects of anxiety, stress, and trauma so you can live your life without fear.
We also offer therapy for couples and families when helpful. Contact us to learn more about specialized therapy and how we can help you have more good days.
Counseling for Children & Teens
There is no age limit on stress and anxiety. While some parents have always seen their child as a “worrier,” you may be noticing the effects of stress on your child over time.
Anxiety looks different in children and teens. Kids who are affected by anxiety and stress are often mislabeled and misdiagnosed. We take the time to complete a comprehensive evaluation so we can provide accurate and effective treatment to help children and teens manage their symptoms and get back to being a kid.
We also include parents when helpful so support can continue at home, increasing the likelihood for lasting results.
