Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Website Disclosures

Last Updated: May 2026

Welcome to Good Day Mental Health and Good Day Psychiatry ("we," "our," or "us"). By using this website you agree to the following policies. These policies apply to gooddaymentalhealth.com, all associated pages, contact forms, scheduling tools, and digital communications.

1. Privacy Policy

Information You Provide

We collect information you voluntarily submit through contact forms, appointment requests, scheduling inquiries, telehealth requests, scholarship applications, Outside Voice Day Camp registration forms, and email or phone communications. This may include your name, phone number, email address, and a general description of the services you are requesting.

Please do not submit sensitive medical information, diagnoses, medication details, or crisis situations through website forms or standard email. These channels are not designed for that purpose.

How We Use This Information

We use submitted information to respond to your inquiry, schedule appointments, provide requested services, improve website functionality, conduct internal quality improvement, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

2. Healthcare Privacy and HIPAA

If you become a patient of Good Day Mental Health or Good Day Psychiatry, your protected health information (PHI) is protected under applicable federal and state privacy laws, including HIPAA. Our Notice of Privacy Practices describes those protections in detail and is available upon request.

Submitting a contact form, sending an email, or viewing this website does not establish a provider-patient relationship. A provider-patient relationship is established only after scheduling, completion of intake requirements, consent procedures, and formal acceptance by the practice.

3. Electronic Communication

We offer the option to contact us by email, text message, and through our patient portal and telehealth platforms. We use HIPAA-compliant systems where required. However, standard email and text messaging carry inherent privacy risks. You are responsible for maintaining the privacy of your own devices and network connections.

Please do not use website forms or standard email for urgent medical or mental health situations. See the Emergency Disclaimer below.

4. AI-Assisted Documentation

We may use secure, HIPAA-compliant AI-assisted tools to support clinical documentation and care coordination. These tools may generate draft clinical notes for review by a licensed clinician. Audio is not permanently retained after processing. AI tools do not replace clinical judgment or make independent treatment decisions. All documentation is reviewed and approved by licensed professionals. Protected health information is not sold and is not used for commercial AI training unrelated to your care.

5. Website Analytics

We use Squarespace's built-in analytics and may use Google Analytics and search engine webmaster tools to collect limited technical information, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referral source, approximate location, and interaction data. This information is used to improve website performance and user experience. It is not used to identify individual visitors or linked to personal health information.

6. Third-Party Services and External Links

Our website links to or references the following third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of any external website.

  • CareCredit (carecredit.com) — healthcare financing option accepted for psychological testing, therapy packages, and Outside Voice Day Camp. CareCredit's own privacy policy and terms apply when you apply or use their service.
  • Psychology Today (psychologytoday.com) — provider directory listing. Governed by Psychology Today's own terms.
  • Google Maps — used for clinic directions. Google's privacy policy applies.
  • Telehealth platform — telehealth visits are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant platform. That platform's business associate agreement and terms apply to sessions conducted through it.
  • Insurance carrier websites — we link to or reference Aetna, Cigna, DMBA, EMI, Evernorth, Optum, Regence BCBS, Select Health, Tricare West, UBH, and UHC. Each carrier's own privacy policy governs your interactions on their sites.
  • Educational and government resources — we may link to NIMH, the VA National Center for PTSD, ADAA, APA, and similar organizations for informational purposes.

Insurance is currently accepted for psychiatric services only. CareCredit is accepted for psychological testing, Outside Voice Day Camp, and therapy packages. Please visit our insurance page for the current list of accepted plans.

7. Minors

Good Day Mental Health serves children and adolescents. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for supervising a minor's use of this website and for information submitted on a minor's behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website outside of the service request context described above.

Outside Voice Day Camp is a program specifically designed for children with selective mutism. Registration forms for that program are submitted by a parent or guardian on the child's behalf.

8. Video and Audio Monitoring

For safety and security purposes, video and audio monitoring may be used in public lobby and waiting areas at our clinic. These recordings are securely stored, access is limited to authorized personnel, and recordings are not part of the medical record unless directly relevant to a safety or clinical incident.

Viewing this website, submitting a contact form, or sending an email does not establish a provider-patient relationship. That relationship is established only after scheduling, intake completion, consent procedures, and formal acceptance by the practice.

Users agree not to misuse website forms, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with website functionality, submit false or harmful information, or engage in harassing conduct toward staff or providers.
